Glorious Spring!

























There is SO much happening in the garden daily! Each day brings a new surprise or unexpected wonder as the glories of spring unfold. I hope you are venturing into the beauty of this marvelous season as often as possible. I know I wish I had even more time to be in the garden! This week I'm snatching up bits and pieces of time and looking forward to the next time I can spend a whole day snipping, pulling, planting, potting ...

    Great Caladium. Fabulous Shell Ginger flowers. Stunning stand of Stromanthe sanguinea and that clump of Begonia flowers are just magnificent. Your spring garden is wonderful.

    I live south of you in Fort Myers. Becasue we are in a draught and I don't have an irrigation system, our spring is delayed until the rains come. thanks for sharing.

    I adore your lush garden ... and so do the butterflies...so peaceful looking. I am still looking for spring to move forward..the heat wave we had in March was followed by freezing temps in April and the garden has slowed to just some daffs and hyacinths...no leaves on the trees yet

    I love your garden....soon our Caladiums and tropicals will perk up again:) Once our ground warms up, things start popping up:) Nice shots....and I love your butterflies.

    Hi Meems, i still remember how your garden looks like last year, the different caladiums, the impatiens which are previously unwanted but later on loved, etc, etc, the basis of my saying "if i will have a garden, it must be like Meems' Hoe and Shovel. Now it's up again. While you are in your spring, ours are mostly in dormancy to be alive again when the rainy season arrive, after this extreme heat at 34C still going up.
