2009 Garden Calendar: A Look Back

How hard can it be to have a look back through the garden photos and choose one or two or three from each month as a reminder of how the gardening year has gone? Not as easy as it sounds.

Do we choose them from the veggie garden or the back gardens or the front or the side gardens?

Or do the remarkable macro shots of individual flowers and butterflies and bees give us the best images in review of the passing year?

As 2009 is fastly giving way to 2010 the photo archives of the passing year was a fun way to remember the trials and successes we've had in the garden in 2009.

I hope you have looked back at your gardening year with joy and inspiration for a new and exciting 2010 ... so many possiblities in the garden.

Spring will be upon us soon and with it comes all the new hopes and dreams for good things to come.

I hope you enjoy taking a trip down memory lane at Hoe and Shovel.

Part two covering July through December up next.
A Happy and Safe New Year to all!
