  1. I can't stands it no more! I've lived in my house for 23 years and for 23 years I've complained about not having a chipper for all the debris The grounds accumulate from my oak and pine trees. In viewing your blog, I've yet again become enthused about getting one, and the Troy-Bilt looks like just the ticket for turning debris into nourishing mulch for my beds. I can't take the suspense of awaiting your pick, I'm just going to go buy one! :):)
Thanks for giving me the final shove to do it!
Been following your blog for about a year...love it!

  3. Hi Meems, I've been following your blog for sometime now. I have been turning my sandy, sunny, former orange grove propery into a shady retreat for my husband and myself and after 17 years, we have lots of trees, so a shredder mulcher would be a wonderful treat. Over the years i have learned water conservation, created a habitat for wildlife and butterflies and even a cosy retreat for the neighbor hood cats. Your blog has been an inspiration and helped me learn how to garden in the shade in Florida. Do you ever do garden tours? Would love to see your garden in person. Fingers crossed for the mulcher. jo_anneh50@hotmail.com

  4. Hi Meems! It would be so cool to have a Troy chipper! I have over 30 trees in my yard ! They are constantly dropping branches that I have to break up and figure out how to get rid of! If I won I could make my own MULCH ! I LOVE MULCH! I hope I win ! :) ....I love your blog too!

  5. Personally , I don't give a chip about the tool. I fear it will make more work for me . But my wife wants it, and I like to give her everything she wants, maybe I could hire someone who give a chip!
