The flowers are excellent sprinkled on top of salad and the stems are great for stir frying in eggs or other veggies. I'll never pick all the flowers from one plant though. Just a few here and there. Mis...The spiderwort has become quite prolific in N. Miss. They are easy to transplant from natives found along the roadway. We have tried to get them to over winter in the Chicago area without success.
