all my seating arrangements used to be just for effect, you know, because every garden has them. it isn't my nature to sit very often. as the years go by (more rapidly all the time) making time to sit a spell once in a while isn't as hard to do. i find it rewarding to relax and enjoy the fruits of my labor and God's handiwork of sights and sounds.
(you've heard of those people who crank down the air conditioning in order to start a fire in the fireplace? i'm one of those people who gets in the pool in order to be cool enough for a hot cup of coffee in the evening.)
on these hot summer days of july and august i can be found in this spot most mornings just before the sun comes up and after the sun goes down. on a crisp cool fall, winter or spring day (oh how i'm longing for one of those) hubby and i can stretch out in these chairs with a book and cup of coffee for a couple of hours and read (or chat- well, me chat and him listen) our hearts away. what about you? do you have a favorite relax place and/or time?
